About me, Brani

What makes me different

I see the whole system. I've worked across technology, strategy, and people. I understand technology well enough to advise on implementation and solutions, but I also speak the language of campaigners, fundraisers, and marketers. I can spot where the system is creaking—whether it's in your technology choices, team dynamics, or strategic direction—and help you address it.

I focus on sustainable change. I don't just deliver a report and leave. I work collaboratively with your teams to create solutions they actually buy into and can implement. Small, practical steps that stick.

I don’t use jargon. You'll get clean and understandable reports and practical recommendations from me, not theoretical documents that end up collecting dust on a shared drive.

The problems I solve

Digital transformation projects stall. Not because the technology is wrong, but because organisations can't see where the real blockage is—in how technology, strategy, and people connect.

Whether it's a new CRM, website rebuild, or digital transformation strategy, teams feel overwhelmed by competing priorities and aren't sure where to start.

I help you diagnose what's actually stuck across your whole system and work with your teams to find a way forward.

My process

We have a saying in Serbia: measure three times before you cut. That's my role—I help you assess where you are and where you need to be, so when you make 'the cut' (new technology, restructure, new strategy), you know where to start and what success looks like.

My process in detail.

Two core principles

Putting people first: A human-centred approach that values group thinking and decision-making. I use diamond-shaped thinking: Inspired by human-centred design, this approach means we'll switch between thinking big and wide with your teams and colleagues, and then focusing in and prioritising.

Looking beyond the tech: Because a change in one area requires changes in the other two.. Throughout, we look through three lenses: People (culture, skills, training), Process (ways of working, planning), and Technology (systems, data).

My experience

I'm a digital strategist with over 20 years in the UK charity sector. I've led digital initiatives at major charities including CAFOD, Save the Children UK, and World Animal Protection.

As a digital all-rounder from the days when one person managed every digital aspect of an organisation, I understand how fundraising, campaigning, policy, and technology interconnect.

I'm the creator of the Digital Maturity Framework and a certified executive coach and CharityComms mentor.

In December 2023, I co-founded Charity Change Collective with a bunch of my colleagues. We came together to help nonprofits get their transformation unstuck. In the past year we conducted interviews with 50+ changemakers in the sector and extracted case studies and practical tips, all available in our toolkits for change. You can download our free toolkits and follow the updates on our website or on our LinkedIn page.
